Vardar's Champions' League triumph in Hungary is historical in many different aspects, but the current SEHA Gazprom League champion does not have time to rejoice. They are ahead of a new challenge within the regional league. Their guest in SC Jane Sandanski will be the Serbian champion Vojvodina. The match will be played tomorrow (Tuesday) at 17:15.
Of course, Vardar is the favourite, but some of the players are injured and the roster of the coach Roberto Parrondo is still not known. Rogerio Morraes and Vuko Borozan are injured, and after the training session the coach will decide on the roster.
"Vojvodina has been the best Serbian team in the past several years and we cannot underestimate them. They have young and good players that play aggressively and give their best. We want to show our quality. Of course, this match will not be as difficult as the one against Veszprem, but we have to take our task seriously" – said Parrondo.
The right back Dainis Kristopans is the real giant in court. He is though, and he is well integrated into the team.
"Vojvodina has lots of young and good players, and an experienced goalkeeper too. We are on a good track after the matches in the Champions' and the SEHA League. They are the best Serbian team, and we have to use this match to prepare well for the next Champions' League match against Rhein-Neckar."
You could win a free ticket for the tomorrow's match against Vojvodina if you buy a ticket for the next Champions' League match against Rhein-Neckar on Saturday.
