SEHA F4: Vardar’s handball dance for placement in their 6th final

For the 6th time, Vardar will fight for the regional SEHA Gazprom League title after defeating Meshkov with 33:24 (17:14) in the semi-final of the F4 tournament. The red-black team is on the right track to become the first team with 4 SEHA League titles and the second team that succeeded to celebrate 2 seasons in a raw in front of its fans.

Vardar's opponent in the final will be the winner of the match PPD Zagreb – Celje. The final will be played on Sunday at 20:15 in SC Jane Sandanski.
Vardar's domination continues in matches against Meshkov. This was their 13th match and the 8th triumph in the SEHA League. Meshkov was the only team to take one point from Vardar this season in the SEHA League, but now they paid back.
The match with Meshkov was announced as the "final before the final" of the F4 tournament, but the beginning of the match did not prove that. Vardar started furiously, motivated and eager to play. Cindric, Borozan, Shiskarev, Dibirov, etc., have filled the net of Meshkov since the start of the match, and the opponent's players were helpless. The red-black team reached a lead of 7:3 when the guest coach called for a timeout in order to make changes in the game. The advantage of 4 goals increased to 6 (12:6). Arpad Sterbik was also in a good mood with 6 saved shots.
Our coach started to make changes in our team, and after couple of technical faults, Meshkov reduced to 12:10. It was time for a timeout, which was effective, and Vardar again reached a lead of 6 goals (16:10). Whenever we would play seriously, we would score. If it weren't for the missed shots of Kristopans, Maqueda and Dibirov, the result on halftime would have been much more in our favour.
As soon as the 2nd half started, Vardar showed their power and desire to win convincingly. Our boys made a series of 5:0 and reached a lead of 22:14, as an announcement for a victory. Our placement in the 6th final was secured. We only needed to formally end the match. Vardar reached its first 2-digit advantage soon (30:20). We had the cheerful Sterbik between the goal posts with 16 saves and 2 penalties, and he was the leader of the game in defence.
Luka Cindric was the best Vardar's scorer with 6 goals. Chupic, Karachic, Shishkarev and Borozan scored 4 goals each.
