Koksharov: We have injured players but we only think of winning

Following the win against Meshkov in the EHF Champions' League, the current European champion Vardar will play two tied matches against Kielce. The Polish champion is coming to Skopje this weekend, and then we go to Kielce.
The first match will be played on Saturday, 09.11.2019 at 17:30 in SC Jane Sandanski.
Vardar is 2nd with 8 points, one more than Kielce and Montpellier. Four more games remain to be played this year, and besides both matches with Kielce (in Skopje and Poland next weekend), we are due to play in Belarus against Meshkov and host Veszprem on 01.12.2019.
Of the eight matches played in the Champions' League against Kielce, Vardar won 3 and five ended with Kielce's triumph. The red-black team has a better goal difference (224:221) and won the last three matches played in Skopje.
Last year we also shared the group. We lost the first match 31:24, and in Skopje we won 28:27. The guest from Poland only won once in Skopje in 2015, in the quarter-finals of the EHF Champions' League.
Vardar has problems with injured players, and after the last training session will be known which players will be ready to play. But we had problems with injuries against Meshkov too, and those in the court played extremely motivated.
"We are ahead of a difficult match against Kielce. We know the situation in the group, all teams have almost identical number of points and every win can take you forward, but every lost match can bring you back. We have a lot of injured players, but we only think of winning. The match will show the future outcome. We are still monitoring the condition of the players and tomorrow we will know who can play" – said Eduard Koksharov, the coach of the team.
Igor Karachic is part of Kielce now and he previously won five titles with Vardar in the SEHA Gazprom League and two in the Champions' League. Now he will play for the first time against his former teammates.
"We always play interesting matches with Kielce, which is our big rival. We all want to win, and we expect great support. We have a lot of injured players, who in a recovery process. We have to give our best and try to win, Kielce is a team that fights, just like us. There will be tension and eventually someone will cry, but hopefully it will be Karachic" – Stojanche Stoilov, Vardar's captain, joked.
Ticket selling for the match with Kielce is ongoing at: www.ticketplus.mk and at the box-office of SC Jane Sandanski.
