Although the fight for the title in Cologne has not started yet, Vardar already has reasons to celebrate. Five Vardar's members are part of the All-star team – 4 players and the coach Roberto Parrondo.
Upon proposal of the coaches, the EHF collaborators and the media team selected the All-star team candidates. The selection lasted one month. Later, the fans voted through the EHF application, and here Vardar's players also dominated.
The following Vardar's players are part of the All-star team:
Milosavljev – best goalkeeper
Dibirov – best left wing
Kristopans – best right back
Chupic – best right wing
Parrondo – best coach
This is the first time a Macedonian team has so many players in the All-star team. For the 2nd time, Vardar has the best coach (Raul Gonzalez was the first), and Timur Dibirov is part of the best team for the 2nd time.
The goalkeeper Dejan Milosavljev continued the tradition and succeeded Arpad Sterbik, who was last year part of the All-star team.
