Six handball schools will participate, many of which are part of the Vardar Handball Academy.
"We will organize the tournament in accordance with our program for continuous strategic development of the younger categories, and we want to show the children the beauty of collective sports through competing. The teams will compete in 2 categories – boy's 2008/09 and girl's 2009/09. We will organize mini handball matches for the kids born in 2010 and later. The tournament will be held in the sports hall Biljanini Izvori in Ohrid, and more than 250 kids from all over the country will participate. We want to point out that there will be a live internet streaming of such a tournament for the first time thanks to Stojan Stojanoski '2S'. We provided food and drinks for every participant, and a doctor from the Red Cross – Ohrid will take care of the children's health" – said the manager of Vardar Sedmerec Boris Gjuteski.
According to Gjuteski, the tournament will show the children how big sporting events look like, but it will also give them the opportunity to show their parents what they learned on the training sessions and how they are developing as athletes, with a strong competitive spirit and competitive character. Several coaches work with the kids from Vardar Sedmerec – Gjuteski, prof. Katerina Stojanoska and assistant coach Aleksandar Stojanoski
HC Vardar Sedmerec from Ohrid, GRK Gostivar, HC Prespa from Resen, HC Asovi from Kichevo will compete in the boy's 2008/09 category, while HC Vardar Sedmerec from Ohrid, HC Kale from Kichevo, HC Gostivar and HC Lihnid from Ohrid will compete in the girl's category.
