New season, new challenges: The Vardar Junior League starts

The first round of the Vardar Junior League, which is being organized for the fifth time, will start on Saturday (16.11) in SC Jane Sandanski. Organized by the Vardar Handball Academy, the youngest handball players in Macedonia will play matches against their peers, meet children from other parts of the country and establish friendships that will be developed along with the progress in the handball world.

Traditionally, this year's Vardar Junior League will be played in several towns throughout Macedonia, where some of the teams participating come from. The league is played during the season, with a break during the school winter break.
Regular matches allow handball players in the youth categories to gain experience, build character and sports ethics as competitors, and develop a team spirit. The league participants have always considered the league as a steppingstone to one of the Vardar selections where the best players come to play. Some achieve their goal, and others continue in other clubs where they build themselves as sports figures, taking with them the experience and friendships. Kids get involved in sports because of the challenge, but they get used to a healthier lifestyle, spend less time in front of the TV and learn how to spend their time more efficiently.
Matches begin at 08:40 on Saturday in SC Jane Sandanski. The schedule includes matches in the 2008/09 and 2006/07 category, and the youngest (children born 2010 and younger) will play mini handball.
